The book Linear Probability, Logit, and Probit Models and an Application looks at linear probability, logit and probit models. These are used to analyse nominal-scale dependent variables. The book uses Turkey as an example, where a study was done on credit card ownership and usage frequency. This study used demographic and socioeconomic variables. It was found that the logit model performed better than discriminant analysis. The results show that these models are effective tools for decision-making processes by reducing uncertainty.
