The book titled “Let’s Sing, Children” is a collection that includes children’s songs with piano accompaniment. The book contains 15 original pieces considered suitable for children between the ages of 7–12. The lyrics and music of the songs were created by the authors of the book. This work aims to develop the repertoire of children’s songs by prioritizing enjoyment and values education, and it targets that the harmonic and rhythmic structure of the piano accompaniments written for the songs be at a level that supports children in gaining a sense of polyphony. Therefore, while classical accompaniment figures are used in some songs, popular, march, and irregular rhythm patterns are used in others. The piano accompaniments written for the songs were recorded live and added to the book in CD format. In this way, it is intended to support music teachers by providing a helpful material in situations where live accompaniment cannot be performed. It is hoped that the songs in the book will be sung in school choirs.
